A chance to hear Storm Deva & Kindred Spirit Band play their transformative, progressive rock together, in the sacred space of Glastonbury
Both Storm Deva and Kindred Spirit Band are an extra special pairing for tonight's gig, combining to give audiences a really transformatory experience! Both, 5-piece, bands capture the attention of audiences, performing revelatory, progressive rock with "extraordinarily beautiful" and "perceptive and intriguing" songs and they both feature beautiful, female, lead vocals and fabulous musicians. Expect many storytelling songs dealing with quests, the natural world, the mystery of the cosmos and spiritual healing.

Kindred Spirit Band
The Kindred Spirit Band are a five-piece, featuring the “perceptive and intriguing” songs, “haunting and beautiful” voice and rhythm guitar work of Elaine Samuels. They are known for weaving thrilling electric violin or guitar and flute or sax with compelling and uplifting stories, driving bass and drum rhythms and two female vocals. They have been performing and recording albums as a band in this form, since the early 2000s and have performed at some prestigious venues and events, such as Liverpool’s Cavern Club, Weyfest, A New Day Festival and HRH Prog Festival. They have been embraced by the prog rock world, with features in Prog magazine and Classic Rock Society’s magazine.
Kindred Spirit Band are currently Elaine Samuels (vocs/ac/elec guitar), Piers Hogg (elec guitar), Keith Buckman (bass & bvs), Stevie Mitchell (flute, sax, cello & bvs), & Paul Austin (drums). This post-lockdown line-up have already performed to acclaim at A New Day Festival, Danfest, Prog the Forest, Cambridge Rock Festival, Wokingham Festival & Soundle Weekend. Following the success of their award winning 2023 EP release, Mechanophobia, Kindred Spirit Band’s double concept album "The Journey Within" was released in July 2025.

Storm Deva
Storm Deva combines rock, classical, folk and world influences to produce a set of unique songs, with lyrics rich in natural imagery. The songs are arranged for a five piece band comprising vocals, piano/keyboards, guitar, cello, bass and drums. Their self-titled, first album was released in December 2023 and they are currently busy working on the followup.
