Sophia Wren began performing stand-up in 2023 and within 12 months she has shared the bill with Deirdre O’Kane and Justine Stafford at Funny Women on Whelan’s main stage, opened for Stephen Mullan (Ouch and Yeah, Yeah, Yeah), and performed as part of Dalkey comedy Festival. She was the winner of “Show Me The Funny’ in 2024 and was a finalist in Bray Comedy Festival’s ‘Best New Act’ competition, as well as performing regularly in all of Dublin’s Comedy clubs.
