The OVO Hydro launches “Our Moment”: Scotland’s premier live destination to become Scotland’s home from home this summer

This summer, as Steve Clarke’s men head for North America, the OVO Hydro, Scotland’s premier live entertainment destination, will hold a series of events for all fans.

While much of the Scotland support will be USA-bound in June, millions more will remain in Scotland, cheering their team on as games are televised live, late in the evenings and in the early hours of the morning.

Now the OVO Hydro in Glasgow will provide a destination and rallying point for supporters in Scotland with a series of live events, where they can unite, watch the games and (hopefully) celebrate victory together as a Nation.

Endorsed by the Scottish Football Association and featuring pre-match entertainment for fans young and old, The OVO Hydro “Our Moment” will see the Scotland games shown live on big screens inside the iconic venue.

This will be much more than a traditional screening or ‘watch party’, it will be Scotland’s home, a place where fans can gather in their thousands and create their own memories.

Looking ahead to the matches, Dominic McKay, SEC Chief Executive Officer said: “This summer is a moment that lives beyond football. It will be a moment of national significance and we want to create a place where the Nation can gather to celebrate and cheer on Scotland.”

The games will be showing late, but the kick-off times are far from an obstacle and will heighten the atmosphere and make the occasion all the more memorable for supporters who want to savour the experience and create lifelong memories.

All three summer matches, against Haiti, Morocco and Brazil, are planned to be shown at the OVO Hydro.
