Hector Shaw

Hector Shaw grew up immersed in traditional Scottish music, but the world his songs map is quieter and more interior than the one he was raised in. With a keen eye for the unspoken, his songs are charged with pastoral longing and nameless desire, floating above finger-picked guitars and folk-tinged arrangements. Hector’s songs echo the same intimate storytelling as Sufjan Stevens, Phoebe Bridgers and Laura Marling.
