Slam

Slam are DJs Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle, the founding fathers of Soma Records - the label that helped kick start Daft Punk and Surgeon. The Slam sound is essentially twisted funk with very groovy bass lines and clever samples. Check out the album 'Headstates', and tunes such as 'Positive Education' or 'In-ten-cities' for Slam at their best.
