Strathaven Choral Society presents Elgar - The Music Makers

About the show

Strathaven Choral Society, under the direction of Christopher Barr, will perform The Music Makers, by Sir Edward Elgar, accompanied by the Strathaven Chamber Orchestra and featuring soloist Lynn Bellamy.

This piece is not often performed, so take the opportunity to enjoy it live. Elgar lovers will recognise many themes from the composer's more popular works dotted throughout. The orchestra will also perform Gustav Holst's St Paul's Suite for Strings.
