Michael Wood - Athelstan: England's First King

Michael Wood is a renowned English historian, broadcaster, and documentary filmmaker who brings ancient and British history to television through landscape, language, and archaeology.

Though trained primarily as a historian rather than a professional field archaeologist, his programs frequently rely heavily on archaeological discoveries and scientific testing to reveal lost pasts.
