About the show
Hannah White and Keiron Marshall are more than your general award winning musicians - they are relentless advocates for grassroots music and venues, running Suttons' much loved and respected The Sound Lounge.
We are truly honoured and thrilled that they are part of Folkestone Songwriting Festival tutor team alongside Findlay Napier who will be warming up the stage for them.
Hannah is gaining the recognition she thoroughly deserves as a songwriter and live act scooping these two awards at last year's Americana UK awards and has since represented the UK at AMA in Nashville last year and playing on stages such as The Royal Albert Hall and most recently at Glasgow's Celtic Connections Festival.
So this is a real treat - her husband and guitarist Keiron Marshall is incredible too.
Proudly working class with real lived experience of hard times, her songs are uniquely honest and somehow gently gets into our hearts and soul creating an intimate connection with whatever size of audience she is playing too.
Festival friend and lead tutor Findlay Napier is no strangers to Folkestone and he says he just loves coming back every year to play for us and we can't wait to hear songs from his new album and celebrate his recent award as Scottish Composer of the Year.
