Lunchtime Fleet Jazz with Rob Barron Trio

A very welcome appearance from the Rob Barron Trio, led by one of the UK’s most respected jazz pianists. London-based pianist, arranger and composer Rob Barron has been described as “one of the most creative and versatile musicians of his generation” and is regarded as a mainstay of both the London jazz and studio scenes. A regular performer at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Rob is constantly in demand as a sideman and bandleader alike. Highly regarded for his improvisational flair, innate musicality and elegant touch, his playing draws inspiration from Blue Note greats including Cedar Walton, Wynton Kelly and Sonny Clark, while maintaining a style that is uniquely his own. Expect an hour of swinging, sophisticated and deeply engaging jazz from a trio at the top of its game. With the great Steve Brown on drums and Marianne Windham on bass.
