About the show
BAFTA-nominated comedian, actor and Jane Austen fanatic Rachel Parris invites us to follow Charlotte Lucas to Kent in this Pride and Prejudice sequel.
A founding member of the critically acclaimed improv comedy group Austentatious, Rachel Parris has lived and breathed all things Austen for 14 years, whilst also finding fame for her viral segments on The Mash Report and Late Night Mash.
Rachel’s novel, Introducing Mrs Collins, continues the story of sensible Charlotte Lucas who accepted stability over a romantic happy ending. But while Elizabeth Bennet may have turned away in judgement, Rachel injects new life into this character in a tale of love, loss and second chances.
Join us to discover the source of Rachel’s passion for Jane Austen’s characters and explore our unending fascination with the Regency world.
