About the show

Show of Hands is a new Jazz festival taking place at Gilcombe farm in Bruton over the late May bank holiday weekend in 2026 for 2,500 people.

It's a space for family and friends to enjoy and listen to up-and-coming Jazz music in the rolling Somerset hills.

Show of Hands prides itself on being fully independent, free of corporate sponsorship and mass-produced brands. We want to take the festival experience back to being about the people and the community. That's why we've created a unique chance for festival goers to have their say in the festival with an all-attendees vote. You can propose and change anything you like. It is your place to create.
