The single 'Walking on Sunshine' gave Katrina and The Waves a worldwide hit in 1985 and a Grammy nomination. 'Walking on Sunshine' has been streamed over 1 Billion times on Spotify alone and Katrina & The Waves on Spotify have an average of 5.5 Million monthly listeners. Their follow up single, ‘Do You Want Crying’ was a top 40 hit in the US, ‘Sun Street’ was a UK Top 30 hit in 1986 In 1997 Katrina and the Waves’ ‘Love Shine a Light’ won the Eurovision Song Contest with the largest ever margin, followed by an unprecedented four consecutive appearances on Top of The Pops and a No. 3 in the UK Charts. Their songs have been covered by The Bangles, Dolly Parton and Celine Dion. In 2023 Katrina was one of the guest artists of The Beach Boys on their Caribbean Beach Boys cruise and performed at the Grand Final party in the Eurovision Village when the Eurovision Song Contest was held in Liverpool. She also performed at 80s in the Sand in Mexico and at shows in Europe including Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Norway and Estonia and Sweden. As a solo artist in her own right, Katrina has released several studio albums and a live album and continues to tour worldwide. Katrina still packs a powerful vocal performance and performs a lively and entertaining set of Katrina & The Waves’ hits and songs from her solo album, 'Hearts, Loves & Babys'. Her latest single, ‘Honey Lamb’ was released in October 2025.
