About the show

Pam Ford is a force of nature. And, as we learn, a force of nurture.
She works, when not making Comedy clubs all over the world rock with laughter, as an activities co-ordinator in a residential care-home.
Her warm, wonderful hour is filled with fascinating characters sharing the kind of incredible life stories you only discover when you give people time and respect.
This is an extraordinary hour of searing honesty, huge laughs and fascinating characters, some of whom work 12-hour shifts for minimum wage.
Do you have a family member that says "Don't you DARE! put me in a care home"? Well this is for you, and them.

Pam Ford appearing at this event
A regular on the UK and international comedy circuit. Fabulous MC and one woman tornado. Due to her strong Aussie accent, Pam is regularly asked 'where are you really from?' She sounds nothing like where she was born, Birmingham England. London-living and loving comedian Pam was once a ten-pound Pom who bounced between UK and Oz. A fun, uplifting storytelling show about surviving bullies, braces, 70s pop, fashion and, of course, Spam sandwiches. 'Perfect blend of Dave Allen and your hilarious tipsy Auntie' (Adelaide 2024 audience review).
