Glowflare Short Film Festival returns on Saturday 18 April 2026 for a full day of independent short cinema at Parkway Cinema Beverley.
Bringing together emerging filmmakers from Yorkshire, across the UK and around the world, the festival showcases a curated programme of 40 short films spanning narrative, documentary, animation and experimental work. With 11 student films and 15 first-time filmmakers featured in this year’s line-up, the event highlights new voices and fresh perspectives in contemporary cinema.
Across five screening sessions, audiences can experience bold storytelling on the big screen, alongside filmmaker Q&A sessions, live awards and Audience Choice voting. From regional talent to international creators, Glowflare Short Film Festival offers a unique opportunity to discover new work, support independent film and connect with a growing creative community.
Tickets are available as Session Passes (£5) or Festival Passes (£15). Early booking is recommended as capacity is limited.
