Green Day

The Californian trio of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool have been re-inventing punk since the late 80s. They shifted over 20 million copies of their breakthrough 1994 album 'Dookie', accompanied by the MTV heavy rotation of hit anthems like 'Basket Case' and 'Welcome To Paradise'. With 12 studio albums to their name, they've proved that punk is certainly not dead. Their career took an unexpected turn following 2004's concept album 'American Idiot' when it later spawned a stage musical, at first on Broadway then in the West End. Not even the legacy of the Sex Pistols managed to achieve a jukebox musical! The boys continue to release new albums and play worldwide tours, proving that they are certainly no American idiots.

Sleep Token

Sleep Token are a masked, anonymous collective of musicians (that may or may not be prolific artists from a variety of different projects); united by their worship of an ancient deity crudely dubbed "Sleep", since no modern tongue can properly express it's name. This being once held great power, bestowing ancient civilisations with the gift of dreams, and the curse of nightmares. Even today, though faded from prominence, 'Sleep' yet lurks in the subconscious minds of man, woman, and child alike. Fragments of beauty, horror, anguish, pain, happiness, joy, anger, disgust, and fear coalesce to create expansive, emotionally textured music that simultaneously embodies the darkest, and the brightest abstract thoughts. He has seen them. He has felt them. He is everywhere. Led by the perpetually tormented, supremely talented Vessel, creates music that brings to the fore our most submerged thoughts and feelings, coaxing them from the desolate, terrifying caves of our subconscious mind.

Korn

Emerging from the depths of Bakersfield, California with a sound unlike any other in 1994, Korn have been able to cement themselves as one of the most important bands in rock n' roll history. The band may have changed members with Brian 'Head' Welch and David Silveria departing in 2005 and 2006 respectively, but Jonathan, Munky, Fieldy and Ray capture the feeling that was there in the beginning.

Weezer

American garage-pop band who shot to fame with the massive worldwide hit 'Buddy Holly' whose up-beat sound and award-winning video directed by Spike Jonze and featuring clips from 'Happy Days' made it a permanent MTV favourite. Weezer’s music has been streamed billions of times with the band selling over 10 million albums in the U.S. and over 35 million records worldwide since their debut album’s release in 1994.

Bullet For My Valentine

Since their formation in 1998, Bullet For My Valentine have become one of the biggest bands in metal, selling over 3 million albums worldwide and scoring three gold albums, as well as defining British metalcore with their now classic debut, The Poison. They cite their main objective as writing rock songs the way rock songs used to be written. Aspiring to a love of acts such as Iron Maiden and Metallica, and an equal hatred of indie-rock, the South-Wales group have enjoyed an upward curve perpetrating their own brand of anthemic rock ballads.

Jimmy Eat World

Jimmy Eat World are an American rock group who may have taken the slow road to success but are now one of the world's favourite alt-rock bands. Originally inspired by acts such as Fugazi and Sunny Day Real Estate, their punkish, emo sound has now won over the hearts of millions.
