About Chris:
Chris McGlade is a comedian from Redcar in Teesside and has performed for over three decades in every type of venue, from the Working Men's Clubs of the North East to the Comedy Store in Hollywood, and the Victoria Palace Theatre in London's West End where he had a main part in Billy Elliot the Musical.
Ken Loach was so impressed when he saw Chris perform he cast him in his film 'The Old Oak', proving his versatility as a performer. Chris' live performances truly come from the heart, and his mix of powerful social commentary alongside proper belly laughs continues to elicit regular standing ovations from audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
