The Trip to Birmingham TradFest is an Irish traditional music festival that takes place every year in the Digbeth area of Birmingham.
The festival’s foundations lie in a desire to reignite the spirit of the once thriving Irish music scene in Birmingham, and to showcase the raw energy and excitement for Trad which had once established the city as a hotspot for Trad in Britain.
The festival weekend encompasses gigs and concerts, a late night festival club, sessions, a youth award and trad workshops throughout the weekend.
