One of British rock's great unsung acts brings the About Time tour to Kent — sixty years on from their 1966 formation, and just weeks before they take the stage at Iron Maiden's Eddfest at Knebworth in July 2026, hand-picked by Steve Harris himself.
Led for all six decades by guitarist Del Bromham, Stray return behind their twentieth studio album About Time (Talking Elephant Records, 2023) — thundering rhythms, wah-wah solos and Deep Purple-esque organ. Iron Maiden covered Stray's "All in Your Mind" from their 1970 debut and Stray supported Maiden on the Dance of Death World Tour in 2003. Before Knebworth, they're coming to Faversham.

Del Bromham leads '70s rock legends back on the road. After tours with Iron Maiden, Uriah Heep, Nazareth, Kiss, Black Sabbath, Rush, Canned Heat to name but a few, Stray still have a widespread appeal to rock and blues audiences young and old. The show features many of their best known classic rock songs as well as some new material.
The band’s current show still features the original lead guitar hero, Del Bromham, who will be joined by Stuart Uren on bass guitar and Karl Randall on drums, while Peter Dyer makes a welcome return on guitar and vocals.
