Evesham Live are proud to present a stellar line up of some of the best comedians on the UK Circuit today.
Hosted by Matt Richardson the multi-award winning stand-up comedian and one of the most exciting names on the circuit. Firmly established as one of the UK’s most exciting young performers and presenters – hosted the drive-time show on Virgin Radio. His TV credits include co-hosting the Xtra Factor & Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live! and is fresh off the back of his 2025 UK Tour ‘Brash’.
Matt will introduce you to James Ellis, Josh Pugh and Lindsey Santoro.
Award-winning comedian James Ellis is a rising star in the UK comedy scene. His sharp observational humour and clever punchlines have won him rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. James’ comedy is rooted in everyday life, and he has a knack for finding the funny in the mundane.
Josh Pugh won a Funhouse Comedy gong show, which was his first ever gig, and then six months later was named Best New Act at the 2014 Midlands Comedy Awards.Josh has a unique, interesting and funny voice.
Naturally effusive and full of giddy joy, Birmingham’s Lindsey Santoro has emerged as one of the most original female voices to come out of the West Midlands, and is one of the best hidden gems on the comedy circuit. Finalist of the 2021 British Comedian of the Year competition, as well as semi-finalist at the BBC New Comedy Awards.

Lindsey Santoro
Naturally effusive and full of giddy joy, Birmingham’s Lindsey Santoro has emerged as one of the most original female voices to come out of the West Midlands, and is one of the best hidden gems on the comedy circuit. Finalist of the 2021 British Comedian of the Year competition, as well as semi-finalist at the BBC New Comedy Awards, Funny Women Regional finalist, Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year semi-finalist, and Leicester Comedy Festival Best Podcast Award Nominee for Biggest Idiot, Lindsey has become one of the country’s must book acts. Credits include Channel 4’s The Joy of Missing Out, BBC Radio 4’s Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican, and she is soon to be seen on Comedy Central Live. Recently, Lindsey has been seen supporting Russell Kane and Joe Lycett on tour.

James Ellis
From humble beginnings five years ago making mix tapes for his friends, to holding down five local residencies and keeping a 500 capacity crowd rocking after a LAB 4 live set- DJ James Ellis has firmly established himself as one of the fastest rising stars of the hard dance scene. Bookings have included Bionic (Cardiff), Koolwaters (Bristol), Sundissential (Birmingham) and Bring Back the Bounce (Birmingham).

Josh Pugh
Josh Pugh won a Funhouse Comedy gong show, which was his first ever gig, and then six months later was named Best New Act at the 2014 Midlands Comedy Awards. He has gained a proven track record of being a winner. That is why he does well in competitions, with confident and clever writing that takes you off on glorious tangents. Matt Richardson
