Dick Lee has been playing all sorts of music with all sorts of groups in all sorts of places for the last 50 years. His latest band is a Hot Club style swing jazz quintet featuring some of Scotland’s finest young jazz performers.
Dick plays clarinet, bass clarinet, soprano sax and recorder, and the band features the dynamic guitars of Ronan Toal and Iain McNally, the tasty reeds of Martin Foster and the springy bass of Steven Jack.
The Hepcats play great swing jazz classics from the likes of Benny Goodman, Django Reinhardt, Duke Ellington et al. and some nice wee tunes by Dick.
