Join us to explore the banning and censoring of scientific books
Join us at the Physicians’ Gallery on the last Wednesday of every month at 12.30pm for a curator-led talk exploring some of the objects on display in our gallery.
Our topic for this talk is the banning and censoring of scientific books – especially during the 1500s Catholic Inquisition, showing the impact of censorship on the advancement of medicine and other sciences.
This 20 minute talk is free, but booking is required.
