About the show
We are thrilled to bring back our very favourite, Seymour Mace for a rare Sussex performance. This is Seymour's latest Edinburgh Fringe show and will be utterly wonderful because he always is. Here's a bit about the show:
Former Hollywood stuntman and dedicated fish watcher Seymour Mace is bringing his magical multi-hued mythos mantle to Sussex. It's a jacket; adorned with a motley selection of words which refer to different bits, some bits are hits, some bits are shits. You shout 'em out, I'll spout 'em out! You verbally indicate, I'll absurdly elucidate! You say the words, I'll lay the turds! Easy fucking peasy!
With support from Jo Neary and Dyball & Kerr, booking in advance is highly recommended. Brilliant alternative comedy since 2009
Featuring - Seymour Mace

Despite looking like a slightly dishevelled and demented geography lecturer, he is a brilliant comedian. He crackles with childish energy, getting caught in flights of fancy and going off on strange tangents, but never loses sight of the gag. A performer worth the admission price alone.
He was a regular in BBC2's Johnny Vegas sitcom 'Ideal', a former City Life Comedian of the Year and Breakthrough Act at the North West Comedy Awards. Like a truly bizarre hybrid of Harry Hill, Half Man Half Biscuit and Viz comic, Seymour is a teller of extremely tall tales and High Priest of the terrifically twisted one-liner. He was also victorious in the Cup A Soup Comedy Challenge. You may mock such a curiously named title but the prize money was 10 grand.
'Leaves his crowd uplifted, entertained and laden with charity shop-bought gifts...Warm, original and weird' (Edinburgh Festival Guide)
'Breathtaking... a surreal performance, he had the audience in the palm of his hand from start to finish' (Evening Chronicle).
Jo Neary

Described as part Joyce Grenfell, part Morwenna Banks and two parts insane, Jo has received critical acclaim for her brilliant one woman show Pan's Person, in which she creates a whole host of characters from a 1940's housewife parodying Celia Johnson in Brief Encounter, to Mr Timkins the family cat!
Jo's trademark character observations, astute social commentary and songs have established her as one of the UK's finest character comediennes.
'Superbly funny' (The Guardian)
'Hilarious off-kilter talent' (The Sunday Telegraph).
Dyball & Kerr

Acclaimed - and incredibly funny - duo following the same bizarre path as the likes of the Monty Python and Big Train teams.
