One Iota + Gaelforce

Formed as a result of writing original songs during the pandemic, One Iota began in 2020 with Adam, James and Andy as The Threetles (a three-piece celebration of the music of The Beatles). Without shows to perform, the three set to work writing an album of music inspired by their songwriting heroes and began what became the More Than You Take album. As the songs evolved, it was surprising which influences came to the fore. Aside from The Beatles, there was clear evidence of Pink Floyd, Squeeze, Queen, Mark Knopfler, Fleetwood Mac as well as Sacandinavian post rock artists such as Sigur Ros and Mew. What the songs seemed to have in common is a strong melody, infectious choruses and, of course, plenty of vocal harmonies. However, the three quickly realised that to perform live, they would need at least one extra pair of hands, and so called on their long-time friend, Phil Everard to take on drumming duties. One trip to the legendary Abbey Road studios later, and the album was ready, with a theatre show on the horizon.

Gaelforce are a Celtic Folk Rock band. 4 piece with fiddle, electric guitars, bass, electronic drum kit & vocals. They play rocked up jigs n reels, original & trad folk songs.
