The controversial genius behind 600 million books – revealed
We are delighted to welcome back Liz Grand for another outstanding one-woman play. After the success of her previous visit with “My Life with Winston”, Liz returns with Kit Hunter’s superb play “The Secret Life of Enid Blyton” which gets to the very heart of this complex woman.
Enid Blyton is the best-selling children’s author of all time, but both her writing and personal life were full of controversy. Scorned by the critics, banned from libraries and schools, accused of racism and misogyny, she nevertheless sold more than 600 million books.
