Puccini's Tosca is a gripping story of love, jealousy, corruption and sacrifice, performed in Italian with English surtitles and accompanied by a live orchestra. Set in Rome during a time of political unrest, the opera follows the celebrated singer Floria Tosca as she becomes caught between her love for the artist Mario Cavaradossi and the ruthless power of Baron Scarpia. As danger closes in, Tosca is forced to make an impossible choice with devastating consequences.
Featuring the famous aria Vissi d'arte and some of Puccini's most dramatic music, Tosca combines powerful storytelling, magnificent staging and emotional intensity. With outstanding soloists, lavish costumes, impressive sets and a live orchestra, this production promises a thrilling evening of passion, suspense and unforgettable music.
