Cathedral Quarter Ice Rink 2026

Get ready to lace up your skates as the city's covered real ice rink returns to bring festive magic to the city centre.

Whether it's little ones taking their first wobbly steps on ice or grownups reliving their childhood glory days, there's something here for everyone. Our covered rink means the fun continues whatever the weather with plenty of rink side space for anyone who'd rather watch than skate.

Hourly sessions include skate hire, and we've got you covered for confidence too. Free standing skate aids are available for shaky starters and toddlers can use our free sit-on aids to join in safely.

Warm up afterwards with a hot chocolate or mulled wine from the Nordic Bar next door. Skate aids are first come first served, so arrive early to grab one.
