About the show
Come and enjoy a Free Open Day at The Weaver’s House. 10am - 4pm on both days.
Step back in time and see how John Croke, a Coventry narrow-loom weaver, and his family lived and worked in the 1540s. Wander through our working medieval garden, and discover plants used for food, flavouring, medicine, and household purposes. Enjoy fascinating talks about the daily life of a weaver in medieval times and the history of the building. You might even catch some weaving and spinning demonstrations during your visit!
Don’t forget to treat yourself to some tea, coffee, and homemade cakes served on Open Days.
Note: The solar room with the loom is closed on Heritage Open Days. Suggested last entry time is 3.30pm. While entry is free, donations are always welcome.
