WAMAFIMF is a documentary about the influential academic, writer and cultural critic, Mark Fisher which explores 'solidarity, shared labour and digital connectivity'

Mark Fisher, who died in 2017, continues to be celebrated as one of the major thinkers of the early 21st century. Rising to fame as the author of the K-Punk blog and the book Capitalist Realism. Fisher taught in the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths University, London, which holds an annual lecture in his memory. Mark's ideas about lost futures, hauntology and the continued threat of capitalist orthodoxy explored the crisis of now, confronting the comfort of nostalgia with the urgent need to change and improve our global situation for the better.

We Are Making a Film About Mark Fisher from Close And Remote takes an experimental, no-budget, approach to the documentary format as innovative and groundbreaking as its subject; becoming a collaborative, participatory project asking 'What Next?' – where do we go from the uncompleted threads of Fisher's project that aimed to put the individual citizen back at the centre of politics and cultural revolution.
