Martin Stephenson & The Daintees
Martin Stephenson & the Daintees are a British rock/folk/pop band combining elements of "rockabilly, show tunes, rootsy pop, straight-ahead rock and punk". Releasing four critically acclaimed albums on Kitchenware, Boat to Bolivia (1986), Gladsome, Humour and Blue (1987), Salutation Road (1989) and The Boys Heart (1992), the band split in 1992. The Daintees reconvened in 2008 to release Western Eagle, the first studio album in 15 years,followed in 2012 with California Star.
