Coalville Comedy Club brings a genuinely great night out to the heart of the town. A professionally run, carefully curated evening of stand up featuring top comedians from the UK circuit. Built for people who want to come out, relax and enjoy something properly good on their doorstep.
Headline Act: The Noise Next Door One of the UK’s most in demand live comedy acts. Known for their high energy, lightning quick improv and sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, they have built a huge reputation for creating completely unique shows every night. Expect fast, fearless and seriously funny comedy.
Opening: Rod Woodward A hugely experienced act who has performed across the UK for years, Rod brings confident, crowd pleasing stand up with a sharp edge. One of the few comedians to have performed twice at the Royal Variety Performance.
Also appearing: Ingrid Dhale A rising name on the circuit and a regular at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Ingrid delivers intelligent, well crafted material with a warm, engaging style that wins over audiences quickly.
Hosted by: Carl Jones An expert MC who knows exactly how to read a room, Carl keeps the night moving with ease. Friendly, quick thinking and naturally funny, he creates the perfect atmosphere from the moment the show begins.

Carl Jones
After winning the Nottingham Comedy Festival ‘Newcomer to Comedy’ competition after just a handful of gigs, Carl has gone on to reach the semi finals of Amused Moose Laugh Off 2011, win both Manchester and Preston ‘Beat the Frog’ competitions at the first attempt and survived the dreaded gong at the Manchester Comedy Store. As a regular member of Nottingham’s top improvised comedy group ‘MissImp’, Carl can also be seen at their monthly residence at Nottingham’s ‘Glee Club’, bringing a unique brand of quick wit and occasionally rude, laddish humour to an otherwise enlightening and informative evening.
