About the show
More of a mass singalong with sound system than a traditional community choir, ENDORPHIN MACHINE! (named after the Prince track 'Endorphinmachine') is designed to be a pure-fun experience where people come to blast out well-loved popular songs together.
No learning curve, no multi-part harmonies to figure out, no homework. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve never sung before, or if you do it every day - all that’s required is a desire to sing.
We strive for a welcoming, friendly, inclusive environment, and look forward to meeting you at our next event!

TECHNICAL SETUP
Held at Druitt Hall in Christchurch, we will have:
- A sound system set up to play the music LOUD (hopefully drowning out any nerves there may be from new singers!).
- Disco lighting (no harsh overhead strip lighting - can also help with nerves!).
- Projector screen displaying lyrics (so no need to search anything on your phone).

COLLABORATIVE SONG CHOICES
On checkout for your tickets, you will be asked for a song suggestion for the event.
If you are getting multiple tickets, and would like to include a song suggestion for each of your guests - please message us after ordering when you’ve had a chance to check with them.
All song suggestions will be put into a poll 3 days before the event (new orders after this point will not be able to suggest).
You will have 48 hours to vote, and the playlist (roughly 50 mins worth of music) will then be shared with you 1 day before the event.

REFRESHMENTS
Free hot drinks and snacks will be supplied, but you are welcome to bring whatever else you’d like (and booze IS allowed).
And if there’s any songs you don’t feel like singing, please feel free to step back and freshen up your drink or grab some snacks!
