Chippenham Film Club July 2026 Screening: 'There’s Still Tomorrow' ( Rating - 15)

Chippenham Film Club brings films to the town that would not normally be seen on the big screen in Chippenham. All are welcome to attend, but membership gets you a 35% discount at all club screenings.

This month's screening is "There's Still Tomorrow", a 2023 Italian period comedy-drama film, co-written and directed by Paola Cortellesi in her directorial debut. A box-office phenomenon in Italy, it was the country’s most successful film of 2023 and was winner of multiple international awards, it is a rare film that unites critical acclaim with audience enrapturement. Set In post-war Rome, in May 1946, the main character Delia, endures a violent, domineering husband while nursing her irritable father-in-law and dreaming of a better future for her children. We see Delia breaking traditional family patterns and aspiring to a different future, after receiving a mysterious letter.
