Join Miranda & Jim in celebrating the festive season with some gorgeous West Country carols, medieval and secular carols from around the British Isles, moving settings of Christmas poems by Cornish poet Charles Causley, as well as a choice selection of seasonal songs by contemporary songwriters on the UK folk scene. All delivered by two of Britain’s best-loved voices, accompanied on a variety of instruments and gurt dollop of festive fun!

Miranda Sykes is a multi-talented singer, double bass and guitar player who easily slips between genres as diverse as folk, jazz, rock and pop. Her rich, spine-tingling vocals and strident, yet sensitive double bass playing is much in demand and she has worked alongside some of the finest musicians in the world.
