Featuring

Andrew Bird

Andrew Bird appearing at this event
Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realised then that he wanted to be funny in some way. Relaxed and improvisatory, Andrew Bird is one of those rare comedians who makes friends with his audiences in an instant with his engaging mix of childhood stories and more recent anecdotes. He has supported Rhod Gilbert, Lee Hurst and Michael McIntyre as well as performing internationally. 'Superb... the exciting rising star' (Time Out) 'A natural comedian' (The Stage) 'Beautifully observed and insightful... not only an entertaining story but a very funny hour of fine stand-up' (Chortle) 'Effortlessly engaging and funny as hell' (Rhod Gilbert).

Sally-Anne Hayward

Sally-Anne Hayward appearing at this event
Sally-Anne is charming and popular, with a winning brand of autobiographical humour. She'll take you on a journey through her slightly eccentric world, including insights into the female psyche and her compulsion to send off spoof job applications. 'Small-time country posh life versus young lady breaking into the stand-up circuit. Fabulous!' (BBC London Live) 'It's easy to imagine Hayward at the 02 or guesting on QI. She is a crowd-pleaser and a straightforward observational comic, but so are most of Britain's favourite comedians today. Hayward is easily the equal of any of them' (The Skinny) 'Innate effusive likeability with straightforward but effective writing... a primetime act' (http://www.Chortle.co.uk) 'Exceptionally funny' (The Independent).
