The Marc Davies Band are coming back to the Haig.
Three musicians. No gimmicks. No backing tracks. No messing about.
Just raw, hard-driving electric blues played with soul, grit and plenty of fire.
Marc and the boys absolutely tore the place apart the last time they played our Concert Room, finishing a storming set to a standing ovation.
This time we're putting them where the blues belongs...
Right in the Front Bar.
Up close. Loud. Intimate. And with nowhere for the music to hide.
Expect dirty guitar tones, smoky slow-burners, deep grooves, soulful vocals and those moments when the band locks together, the guitar starts screaming and the whole room suddenly stops talking.
This is blues with some dirt under its fingernails.
The sort of music made for a Friday night, a few pints and a packed little bar.
If you like your blues polished and predictable, this probably isn't for you.
But if you want it RAW, LOUD, SOULFUL and played by three seriously accomplished musicians who know exactly how to work a room...
