Brigyn are celebrating 21 years! Since releasing their first album in 2004, brothers Ynyr and Eurig Roberts’ melodic alt-folk anthems and ballads have received plentiful airplay World Wide. Famous for their unique rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”, Brigyn’s unique sound has allowed them to perform at some of UK’s leading folk festivals too, including The Green Man festival and Glasgow’s Celtic Connections.
Brigyn
Brigyn were formed by brothers Eurig & Ynyr Roberts. Their sound is a mixture of modern folk music, crafted rhythm loops and lush, expansive orchestral samples. They have released 3 Welsh language albums and are probably best known for their Welsh language cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". They occasionally sing in English too!
