About the show
Join us for the only chance to see Wax Tailor live in the UK this year, as he brings his special Solo Set + Video Show to the immersive surroundings of the CULTVR Dome.
Wax Tailor is one of the pioneering figures of the French independent hip-hop and electronic scene. After spending a decade developing his craft as a DJ, producer, composer and manager, he broke through internationally with the 2004 EP Lost The Way, followed by his landmark debut album Tales of the Forgotten Melodies (2005), now regarded as a classic of the genre.

Wax Tailor is the alias of French hip hop DJ and producer, Jean-Christophe Le Saoût. An unconventional live hip hop performer, as Wax Tailor he is often accompanied by a cellist and flautist on stage, playing along to a range of hip hop samples and cut-up sound bites, against a backdrop of Wax's own videos. Fans of Wu-Tang or Tribe Called Quest need look no further.
