About the show

Bella is bringing her brand new work in progress show to Cambridge Fringe 2026.


Bella Hull is a stand-up comedian and writer best known for her appearances on shows including Have I Got News for You (BBC), QI (BBC2), Stand Up for Live Comedy (BBC), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV) and Comedy Central Live as well as writing on series one of SNL UK. She is also a regular voice on the radio, having appeared on One Person Found This Helpful, The Naked Truth and You Heard it Here First (all BBC Radio 4).


A widely acclaimed live act, Bella regularly plays to sold out crowds both in the UK and abroad. Her most recent live show, Doctors Hate Her, was a smash-hit selling out its entire run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025 including multiple extra shows.


Bella is also a series regular on Channel 4 digital’s A News Thing podcast, and has co-hosted the Rats of the Roundtable and Last Night Out podcasts and previously developed a scripted comedy with the BBC.

Bella Hull is a London-based stand-up comedian and writer and one of the UK’s most exciting young comedians. Bella regularly plays to sell-out crowds across the UK and recently made her television debut on the BBC’s Stand Up for Live Comedy. She recently performed at the Utrecht International Comedy Festival and her writing has been featured on BBC Radio 4’s Newsjack, Flux Magazine and she is the advice columnist for Quadra magazine. A former member of the Cambridge Footlights, Bella begun finding success on the competition circuit, winning the Yellow Comedy Young Comedian of the Year 2019 and placing in the 2NorthDown New Act Competition 2020.
