About the show

Our New Music Showcase at the Login Lounge, Camberley is the perfect event to discover some great new music and artists before they break through. On Wednesday 6th May we have Leave it to Johnny, Molly Stone, George Wilding and Phelim Mader.
Three piece band Leave It To Johnny who perform play original songs that sound familiar. Molly Stone is a London-based singer-songwriter known for honest, emotional songs and a voice that pulls you right in. Blending indie and dark pop influences, her music explores love, loss, and the messy bits of being human. George Wilding grew up in a stone circle and, for a decade, has stood out from the crowd, hopping genres and creating new sounds. His troubadoric-natured songs have been described as ‘Kinks-esque psychedelic folk’, ‘shambient Britrock’ and ‘beat-poet penned pop anthems’. Phelim Mader is a UK-based guitarist, singer-songwriter, and live musician active in the Berkshire and Surrey music scenes, he plays rock-influenced music, featuring in local lineups and supporting acts. Starts 8pm, admission £6.00

Featuring

George Wilding

George Wilding is an English singer songwriter from Avebury, Wiltshire. He taught himself to play the guitar after his younger brother started having lessons, and was writing his own songs by the age of twelve. He had shown no particular interest in music in his formative years other than a tendency to hum words rather than speak them. Shying away from talent shows, he preferred instead to gain experience performing at local open mic slots where he has developed a loyal following. He describes his songs as abstract stories.
