About the show
We have a fabulous line up for out first New Music Showcase at the Login Lounge, Camberley on Wednesday 14th January with live music featuring Foxpalmer with a unique mix of Rock, Americana style folk and lush indie. JP Oldfield is a rising figure on the UK indie-blues circuit who channels the atmosphere of old juke joints and Victorian oddities into compact, theatrical roots songs. The Gillies are an Americana, Folk singer/songwriter duo from SE London. Their music tells of love, loss, bittersweet and harsh realities, the distinctive sound of their acoustic guitars create an intense lonesome dark musical style. The Cutting Room are a creative duo bringing music to life, Join Tegan & James on this journey

The Gillies
The Gillies are an Americana /Folk influenced acoustic duo based in South East London, Susan Turner and Mark (Gilly ) Evans.They are influenced by artists such as Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings. Their sound is a weaving together of steel-strung and tenor guitars, with understated melodies which pull you into their haunting songs.
