Criminologist and CWH Volunteer Dr Jo Payton presents The Homicide Timeline - a thought-provoking talk exploring how patterns of coercive control and abuse can escalate to murder, drawing on groundbreaking research by Professor Jane Monckton Smith.
Behind The Rage (contains graphic images of violence)
The evening continues with a screening of Deeyah Khan's documentary Behind the Rage originally screened on ITV, an unflinching exploration of male violence and the men who commit it. Jo worked on this film as researcher.
18+. Starts at 7pm, doors open at 6.30pm. Pre-booked tickets are free though the venue is a registered charity run by volunteers so donations are gratefully received.
