About the show
The Bury Friendly Orchestra invites you to come and enjoy a wonderful evening of festive music to celebrate the start of the Christmas Season. The programme will feature perennial favourites by Leroy Anderson, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Hugh Martin and Prokofiev; alongside traditional tunes and carols from home and abroad, in arrangements by Calvin Custer, Philip Lane, David Sims and Chris Parsons.
Featuring - Bury St Edmunds Friendly Orchestra
A community orchestra based in the Bury St Edmunds area of Suffolk. The ensemble rehearses during term time on Tuesdays at Hardwick Primary School and has a minimum playing standard of around Grade 4.
New players are always welcome, especially violins, violas, Fench horns and
trombone. There is a waiting list for all other instruments.
