The Bury St Edmunds Bach Choir, known to all as the Bury Bach Choir, was founded in 1932 to perform the great choral masterpieces, and is proud of its history and its central position in the cultural life of Bury St Edmunds. It was recently described by the East Anglian Daily Times as 'a treasure for the town'. The choir celebrated its 80th birthday in 2012. They give three major concerts each year with full professional orchestra and soloists, and also give a Christmas concert. Whether you are a choral music aficionado, or have just discovered classical music, you can enjoy the thrill of live music by coming to Bury Bach Choir's concerts.
