Markus Birdman
Markus is an original and highly talented stand up. He has been described by the BBC as “the all-round package; witty, controversial, hip, topical, silly. A master of timing and physical comedy." His relationship with the Beeb goes back to his performance at the Edinburgh Festival in 2001 as part of Screaming Blue Murder's Big Value Show and as a finalist in the televised BBC New Comedy Awards 2001. He was nominated for the NZ Comedy Guild Award as Best International Artist 2014. Patrick Monahan
Winner of ITV's Show Me The Funny, this half-Iranian, half-Middlesbrough comic is a rising star on the comedy circuit. Full of an insatiable lust for life, his exuberant comedy greets the audience like a sex-starved spaniel would greet a trouser leg. In 2012 he took part in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief on BBC, won Best Newcomer at the Loaded LAFTA Awards and Forth Radio Best Stand-Up People’s Choice Award for his hit show ‘Hug Me I Feel Good’. Dawn Bailey
Dawn is a forty something (ahem just turned 50) Mum who views life through happy specs and giddy knickers (her own words).
