One of British blues' most decorated artists brings his most personal project to date to Bromley Blues Club at Bromley Little Theatre on Sunday 8th November 2026, with special guest Amy Eftekhari. No band, no production — just Laurence Jones, an acoustic guitar, and the songs that kept him going.
Jones is a British Blues Awards Hall of Fame inductee, admitted after taking Young Artist of the Year three years running. He has won Guitarist of the Year at the British Blues Awards and Best European Guitarist at the European Blues Awards, taken number one on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Chart with Bad Luck & The Blues, sold over 50,000 albums worldwide, and been voted one of the world's top ten blues rock guitarists by MusicRadar. He has shared stages with Ringo Starr, Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter and Status Quo, and played both Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall.
His album On My Own, released January 2026 on his own Ron Records label, is his first solo acoustic record. It was written during a period of illness that forced him to rethink his career, his band and his high-energy live show — a record built on raw honesty and stripped-down blues. Co-produced with Wayne Proctor, it pays tribute to the Delta giants who first inspired him, Robert Johnson and Lightnin' Hopkins among them, while telling his own story with unflinching clarity.
