Brixham Comedy Club returns with another huge night of stand-up and this time we’re bringing one of the biggest names in British comedy to the stage: Marcus Brigstocke. Marcus is one of the UK’s most acclaimed comedians, known for his razor-sharp satire, brilliant storytelling and effortless command of the stage. You’ll recognise him from Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, QI, Mock the Week, and countless BBC Radio 4 favourites including The Now Show and I’ve Never Seen Star Wars. Intelligent, fearless and consistently hilarious, Marcus is a world-class headliner and a major coup for Brixham. Holding the night together is the superb Luke Honnoraty, an award-winning stand-up and one of the South West’s most in-demand MCs. Known for his warm rapport, slick crowd work and relatable humour, Luke guarantees the room is laughing from the very start. A full supporting line-up of professional comedians will be announced soon, expect top-tier acts hand-picked from across the UK circuit.

Marcus began his comedy career in Bristol whilst studying drama at University and soon won the BBC New Comedian of 1996 at the Edinburgh Festival. He is now regarded as a major comedy, writing and acting talent, performing stand up nationally to sell out audiences both on tour and on the well trodden comedy circuit. The master of satirical comedy, Marcus has proved to be blisteringly funny over a wide range of topics.
