Get ready for the South West’s ultimate passport to summer as Funderworld Events proudly presents the Festival of Summer at Durdham Downs, Bristol.
Prepare to be transported to destinations around the world without even leaving the city. Each week brings a brand-new theme, complete with themed entertainment, delicious food and drink, thrilling rides and family attractions.
Rides include the thrilling Crazy Mouse rollercoaster; a full-sized coaster packed with twists and turns that is guaranteed to leave you spinning. In addition, our Giant Ferris Wheel offers spectacular views of the summer skies across Durdham Downs and beyond. Little ones are also covered, with a fun mix of rides and attractions to enjoy.
Challenge yourself on the crazy golf course, relax on a deckchair by our urban beach, build an impressive sandcastle, or cool off in the splash pool. Be prepared for foam parties, live discos, water battles and more!
Foodies can dive into international flavours at the vibrant Food Village, while the Boardwalk Bar serves up tropical cocktails, beers, spirits, prosecco and champagne. On selected days, guests can also enjoy live music, street performers and interactive entertainment across the site.
Families are well catered for with the return of the improved Kidzone, a dedicated space for play, creativity and relaxation.
Speaking as a mum and business owner, Michelle Matthews, Festival Organiser, said: “We are delighted to be returning to this beautiful city for a third year, bringing back our popular Festival of Summer event to Durdham Downs. While we understand economic conditions are tough for everyone, we are pleased to be able to offer the South West the opportunity to experience a range of different destinations without even leaving the city.”
