Welcome in 2025 with us at here at Saturday Matinee! Part of the 'Light Time Music' Programme curated in partnership with St. Georges Bristol and Bristol Mammas in Music - Saturday Matinee day light music concerts are for all the community!

Join us this month with Beth Rowley and very special guest performer, singer songwriter Josh Flowers (Echo Baby, Josh Flowers & The Wild).

Held at St. Annes Church in Easton, Bristol, this is a day time event for all the community to come and hear live music. Full access available with on street parking, refreshments, soft quiet play area and outdoor space available.

Beth Rowley

Beth Rowley was born in Peru, raised in Bristol and, after college in Brighton, began a stunning career as a singer/songwriter that saw her sign to Universal Music for the world release of her debut album Little Dreamer, which climbed the UK charts and produced a series of hit songs. Heavily influenced by blues, gospel and Americana music, Beth has a stunning and unique voice that has been acclaimed the world over. 10 years on, Beth's second album, Gota Fría (released in June 2018), is a fusion of rock, blues and Americana. She has been working with co-writers Ron Sexsmith, Marcus Bonfanti and Ben Castle to produce an intimate, yet explosive piece of work that reflects her sublime talent.

Josh Flowers

Josh Flowers & The Wild infuse searing blues vocals with organic folk musicality and raw rock & roll sensibilities. The London based four piece are lead by frontman Josh Flowers, whose evocative lyrics compliment the band’s rustic sound, heavily inspired by 60s and 70s blues, folk and rock & roll.
