Wednesday Night Improv returns to the Hen & Chicken with two halves of unscripted comedy – all made up on the spot, all inspired by your suggestions. Expect quick wit, bold characters, and the kind of laughter that only happens when nobody knows what’s coming next (including the performers).

FIRST HALF

Comedy Games, Improvised Live

(Think Whose Line Is It Anyway? meets Game Changer, with a sprinkling of Taskmaster.)

A fast, funny first half built around short improvised games – the kind where performers get a prompt from the audience and have seconds to turn it into something brilliant. Points will be awarded. Consequences may follow.

SECOND HALF

BIRDWATCHERS

Birdwatchers are a two-prov team made up of Anna Kemp (This is Your Musical) and Paige Tummons (Jazz Police). In their original “epilogue” format, Birdwatchers explore the present and past of 2 characters reminiscing together. The exploratory flashbacks combine comedic elements, heartfelt scenes, and absolutely ridiculous moments that are sure to make you laugh and think that maybe your own family isn’t that weird after all.

Birdwatchers have performed extensively in Bristol and won the Improv Cagematch in 2019.
