Departure Lounge was founded in York by Paul J. Abbott and James Stephenson and is now based in West Yorkshire.
The ensemble specialises in improvised and experimental music, cross-disciplinary projects, and performing in unusual locations.
2016 saw the ensemble embark on their 15th Anniversary concert series #DL15 across the North of England and further afield.
